Helping to keep girls in school every week of the month

After reaching puberty, girls miss up to a week of class in a month due to their menstrual cycle. Sanitary napkins are beyond the reach of most villagers. Cotton wool and rags are used, resulting in infections. Tana River Life Foundation, working with donors here, distributes pads to students enabling them to stay in school throughout the term
