Gabriel Teo Kian Chong is a full time social worker based in the Tana River District, a province off the east coast of Kenya. He has been living amongst the villagers there since 1995, working with them to maximize their God given gifts and talents. In 2005 he started the Tana River Life Foundation with the objective of assisting the marginalized through education and acqusition of livelihood skills.
Prior to moving to Kenya, he was a Tax Manager at both the Schlumberger Group andf Arthur Andersen. Inspired by the work of Doctors without Borders, he moved to Kenya in 1995.
Educated in both Singapore and Malaysia, Gabriel holds a Bachelor of Accountancy, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. He moved to Singapore as a 16 year old on the Asean Scholarship Program and studies at Raffles Institution and Hwa Chong Junior College.

I personally know Mr.Gabriel and the wonderful work he has been doing to the unfortunate/marginalized in our community.I also benefited in 2005 when I was pursuing my studies.May God bless him abundantly to keep up the good work.
I personally had been a beneficiary of Tana river life foundation since i meet the organisation in 2015. I would say Mr Gariel is a man of great faith and strongly believes in whatever he does.He has done alot and is doing much more to the marginalised people of Tana region.
